Nah, I can only imagine how slow I would actually be if I didn't!

As a more serious response, since the question was asked in hopes of a real answer - why not try waxing the first time? (The hair has to be at least 1/4" for waxing to work well) Yes, it stings quite a bit, but it lasts a lot longer than shaving: as much as six weeks. If I didn't shave over the winter, I would wax at the beginning of the season, then shave after the hair starts to grow again. But don't try waxing yourself! Go to a professional salon: it's much faster, and they try to make it less painful. It's a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it.
