I'm starting to get the T-Rex look that a lot of serious cyclists have (skinny arms, big legs), and I'm not sure what to think about it. On the one hand, I know it's helping me as a cyclist. On the other hand, I'm starting to get antsy that I'm losing so much upper body strength. I'm wondering where to draw the line, when to stop my upper body from losing mass. I keep telling myself I'm going to work out again, but after so much riding, I don't really have enough energy to get myself to lift weights.
I'm not really sure what the point of this post is. Maybe I'm showing off, Maybe I'm curious. To you serious riders, is this something you have gone through? And how did you feel about it?
+1... Although I am dropping a bit of fat too and I was skinny to begin with.. I think doing some light upper body work will do the trick.. But I cant find the time to do it these days..
