^^ This bike is a chick magnet....... or maybe it was my winning smile, boyish good looks, and devil-may-care attitude?

Whatever it was - despite being sawed off and left for dead in the scorching Arizona desert by OFG, I was (almost) never wanting for company of the female persuasion.

I need to find me a nice pink De Rosa Professional.

Oh - and I should mention..... my stay at casa OFG was without flaw. 5-star cuisine, sumptuous surroundings, top notch and attentive wait-staff. All this, and a music library without peer.

Word.

I was having a strong ride right up to exactly 62.5 miles, when the wheels suddenly, completely, and totally came off my wagon. The last 6 miles were brutal, and if I could have found enough shade to curl up in, I'd probably still be out there.
