I need some shoes for road cycling, but I can't afford good clipless shoes or pedals right now. So I'm looking for some recommendations on some cheap shoes that are stiff and comfortable for riding with platform pedals.

Edit: I've been using my Nike Shox shoes, but they are way too flexy and lead to my feet hurting.
