I agree with everyone here...I'd love to own a fat bike because I think they're hilarious looking (and awesome), but I don't see myself using it a whole lot and can't really justify the expense of such a role-specific bike, I imagine it'd be an absolute blast on snow and on the beach.

I know bikesdirect was prototyping a fat bike, I'm not sure where that stands, but I wouldn't mind buying a budget-priced fat bike
