BMX style platforms? I will be running your "Retro" Velcro straps. The problem is I just read that the MKS are a bit "wider" than track pedals for comfort?
I'm riding a conversion so there may be an issue of pedal strike....165 cranks?
And Pedal grip/traction in the wet with Rain boots? I'm guessing a set of platforms pedals will provide all around better traction. What do you think? What do you prefer in poor weather?

I'm really not a fan of Sylvans. They're not wide by any means but I find the cages to stick up a bit too high and dig into the outer edge of my feet. If you plan on riding in any kind of boot or bigger shoe, platforms are the way to go.
