I guess the point I'm getting at is don't overthink the crappy result yesterday. The deep tissue massage probably had an impact and lowered your power output, which is why I mentioned "sub-threshold" when I broke down what I did last year for my taper.
I was 50w off my mark when I did a 20' interval on Tuesday, a day after a deep tissue massage. I'm not sweating it though, because I fully expected that.
