For me, I rather do two back to back 25 mile rides than a single 42 and get hurt.
Yeah, I think I pulled it on the 42miler. It was my first "long" ride after switching to fixed gear from single speed. I was also doing a lot of pulling for the group into the wind because I wanted to keep the pace "brisk"

God, I feel so damn behind with all these days off. I hit 464mi last month though.
