Mike, don't get me wrong, I fully support at least 2 bike shops for all kinds of things, but for bike lighting, no bike shop can keep up with new LED technology. It's just that for night riding at my age (reduced night vision), I need all the light I can get. Combined on two lights, I ride with around 1200 lumens. My brother on the other hand, seems comfortable riding with 300 lumens. The Lezyne light would make a great city light that I'm sure would last for years. Might even get my son one as a Christmas present.
