Where most people successfully rely upon common sense for their safety and well-being, you claim it's a superstition. Too funny.

How do you, or anyone, know that obeying commonsense makes cycling safe? I was not creating a distraction; I was pointing out the fallibility of common sense in many fields, including, particularly, bicycle transportation, which is a field rife with superstitions that are believed to be common sense.
