Have I Gone to the Darkside?

I just put a 2011 Giant Cypress ST on layaway. Wife says "Merry Christmas".

It's steel. I like steel. It had Indexed shifting... I'm so far not really a fan, but if it works and keeps working I'll probably like it, but that's not been my experience with indexed shifting.

But seriously, it's NEW. Really? A new bike for me? But it seemed to fit the bill.
