The Hounder does have a flip-flop hub - fixed on one side, freewheel on the other.

To change it from one to the other, you need a socket wrench (or an adjustable wrench or box end wrenches).

Loosen the two axle nuts, slide the chain off, flip the wheel, put the chain back on, tighten the nuts... That's it.
