Why would anyone who was not an extremist want to work for an extremist organization? I am technically conservative but I see valid points from both sides. I find associating with radical conservatives (and I am forced to interact with some) is rather unpleasant as many will not even consider other opinions (and often are very confrontational about it) which makes for rather boring or unpleasant conversations in my book.
