SlimRider, what you did was a good idea. It would be worth me pay someone five bucks to watch my bike. Would I worry my bike wouldn't be there when I got back, maybe a little, but not much. I believe most people in this world are good people, only a very small percentage would actually steal your bike. So the risk is small, it would be a risk I am willing to take.

Yes! I guess we share the same philosophy, Blakcloud. I really didn't think about the possibility of the kid stealing the bike until after I sat down for a few seconds in the restroom. It was then that I began to lament the whole idea of trusting the kid so much.
OTOH- The kid looked fairly harmless. I mean somehow he just looked like you could trust him. He was a black kid too! When I returned, he even told me that I didn't really have to pay him! I therefore, doubled his salary and gave him ten bucks instead of the original five promised.
