It makes the giant flying bats seem tame by comparison, doesn't it?
Stopped to take a photo of one of the scaly buggers who hangs out along a canal bordering a MUP. About 4 feet long, snout to tail.
I also see these occasionally, but they seem smarter than iguanas and they're high-visibility.
I was actually looking for a monitor lizard to photograph, but there were none in sight.
