Thanks Bianchigirl, appreciate the insights. It is actually all Shimano 105. May upgrade one day but for now it is pretty smooth. And yes, rounded seatstays. Besides the saddle and tires, everything is original, down to the Mavic MA 40's. I am still dialing in my ride geometry as my stem is damn long, but that seems to really help me get forward on the hills.
