Has anybody found a (more affordable) replacement or a way to fix it? I've been watching this one. I can buy a used RD with this price! It used to be $125 I remember. Sadly, I haven't seen another one yet in the last 2 months.

I have the same problem on my RD. I still use mine but I keep an eye on the cage. It works fine so far but I stay on the 3 smallest cogs. Thankfully there are not much hills here in my neck of the woods.
