i'm in the US... in washington state. i got both of the bikes from my dad. he purchased the white one in germany himself-- we used to live there. not sure where he picked up the red one.

the red "special" has shimano suntour arx parts.



as far as the white one: i feel dumb about it-- but on the other side of the bike, after riding it around for the last couple weeks-- i noticed a decal on the top tube that reads "campione d'italia" it has ofmega "master" shifting parts and modolo brakes.



so the red one you think is an '84? and the white one an '87?
i'm not sure if i'm going to keep both. but if i had to get rid of one, which do you think i should keep? the campione has a little bit more surface rust than the special. but that's probably minor.
