Hi Y'all!
It's been a fun summer of commuting. My normal commute is a hybrid, drive half way park in a car pool lot, then bike 9 miles to work. So far I have just under 1100 commuting miles under my tires! I thought I would share some observations that I noticed over the past 3 months...
- Those that yell the loudest to get off the road, usually are the ones that need to get out themselves.
- The older the driver, the less room they give you.
- The gentle wind you feel while walking out to your bike turns into a hurricane force head wind as soon as you start peddling.
- Nothing motivates you to peddle faster than seeing a storm chasing you in your mirror.
- The weather folks really don't know what the weather will do that day.
