gloves

yes, i did a search, and yes, there have been a zillion threads on gloves, but this is a pretty specific question.

used to have some pretty heavily padded gloves. they were fine but i decided i didn't like all that padding. got some PI pro pittards gloves - no padding, no velcro. felt awesome in the store, but now that i've put a bunch of miles on them, i've realized they're too loose. maybe i got the wrong size but i don't think that's really it. moderate stretch + no velcro = they don't conform to my hand, so they bunch up and are uncomfortable.

any suggestions of good gloves with minimal padding that have a nice snug fit?

also, question 2: best winter gloves (riding in the northeast) for someone whose hands get cold really easily?

if there are threads that answer these question, point me there, and sorry for being redundant.
