If there is bunching up then I would think it is a size to large. with those styles of gloves you need to really pull them on and when you pull them off it will be difficult. I bought a set of capo gloves like that and bought my normal size. Got them and they are to large, bunching up like your explaining. haven't used them since I bought them.

I have some specialized BG "deflect" cold weather riding gloves. I use them between 30-50F rides. They work pretty good. wind resistant too. They allow to still be agile while riding on the hoods and then needing to use the breaks. They also have a nice grip on the palm. when it gets down to the 30's my hands get a little bit cold though.
