Lighter equipment and aero wheels DO make a difference. The question is, how much of a difference compared to what you have, and how much are you willing to spend .... Also, given $xx to spend, what is the best return ... Powermeter ? coaching ? wheels ? other ?

The answers are different for different people.

What are you trying to accomplish ? Any specific goals ie, knock 1 minute off your 40k TT ? Or just "go faster" ?
