Bikes: 76' Centrurion Pro-Tour, 86' Specialized Rock Hopper, 88' Centurion Iron Man, 89' Bruce Gordon "Hikari", 95' Rock Hopper Ultra.

I have used clear shrink tube (very small diameter) on cable ends with good succes. The shrink tube holds the cable end tight, and comes off fairly easily with a utility knife.
