The Giant ad (the yearly fuel cost field, at least) is kinda misleading - one wouldn't expect to use a bicycle as a replacement for a truck being driven 15,000 miles a year.
A little less misleading then you'd think I would bet. I can't tell you how often I get stuck behind a truck when I'm working.. for 15+ miles on country roads
and see them stop at the same store I do, then they turn back the way they came... and by store I mean convenience not grocery... and that's just one example I can name off the top of my head.. let alone how often people run "errands" in suv's etc that amount to nothing more then being lazy.. but it's not everyone I will admit it.
