Panasonic Team Road Bike - Is this a good bike for long distances ?

Hello folks, I'm a new member and I posted a week ago asking about three bikes, I'm a happy owner of a 86 Centurion Elite RS that is in great shape and riding like a dream. Now, I got the vintage bike "bug" I believe and I can't take this Panasonic out of my mind. I'm 6.0' but have long legs, this Panasonic is a 25" frame, but I'm sure I will fit. The specs are below, the seller is asking $225. I'm learning more and more about bikes, but still can't tell much about the components, I really like mid '80s japanese built. What do you guys think about the specs. below and any information about the Panasonic Team bikes will be greatly appreciated. I will post pictures of the Centurion I purchased this weekend, going out for a ride now!
