Eh, I'm one of those cycling college students and my daily commute is around 20 miles round trip. I do happen to have a car but I'm not going to pay $250 for student parking and then walk 20 minutes from the parking lot to my first class. I can also get to school faster than driving due to Houston traffic and my ingenious shortcuts. Moreover I just love the exercise, I can't hit the gym as often as I'd like between work, school and homework so the chance to ride everyday is something I'm very grateful for.
