Bikes: 2014 BMC Gran Fondo, 2013 Brompton S6L-X

Maybe the folks you see with CX bikes like to use
skinny tires from spring to fall then switch to fatter
tires in the winter. Also, most CX bikes will accept
fenders and racks, most roadbikes won't.
