I've got a mezzo d9 (square frame, so a different bike), had it since 2008 and love it. Just worked out last night that sometime in the next day or two I'll hit 6000km for this year on it. I ride it everywhere.

Fold is quick, say 10 seconds. I allow 15 to make sure I'm on the train before the doors close. I had to learn the fold (watched a video on the train for my first view trips) but once you know it, it's fine. You can use off the shelf components, it's not much different from servicing a normal bike (just make sure you tighten all the bolts afterwards).
