Bummer about not the job loss thing. Happened to me about five years ago, forced to retire and less than half the pension I was promised. The big shots on Wall Street are enjoying the other half of my pension as I write.

I agree with others, take a bike with you. Take a beater but solid runner and ride when ever you get a chance at the end of the day's haul. I can even offer an Italian folder, free in this instance, if you are willing to ride an old Olmo that breaks down or folds up, depending on your point of view.
