42 here with 20mph north wind, 35 windchill. I really enjoyed the ride. Socks were my problem too... I thought I grabbed my wool wigwams, but I actually had some ordinary black athletic crew socks. My feet were only slightly chilly though.

Thermal cap saved my ears for sure. My face and neck were great.
