I think flashing the lights is appropriate if one suspects that the impeding driver isn't paying attention or something, but your suggestions are extreme and make it sound like all impeded drivers are idiots. When I roll up on my bike in traffic, do all the cars have to move out of the way since they are impeding my flow? Plus, how do you determine impeding. They both made it to the next stop light at the same time and waited at it. So from the previous light to this one, no time was gained by honking and passing.
