Yeah, so do I. But like you, I think they are pretty ugly. That's why I posted this thread.

It seems like alot of us are looking for something that would go better with our vintage bikes, but there doesn't seem to be much out there. The leather hairnets seem really cool, but they offer almost no protection and they go for alot of money for something you can't/shouldn't really use. The skid lids on the other hand look abit dorky, although they seem readily available at cheap prices so I might take a chance and get one and hope they look better in person!

I'll look at that other thread on the subject though....
