THIS is the bike that "looks stupid"?? You must have a different definition of the term...
Oh, and if your DC-shod bikes are that slow, those tires'll probably KILL whatever speed you can get from the Comp. Get GOOD, FAST wide tires. Even Paselas would do better than that.
