For sure I want more pressure when I'm sprinting out of the saddle. Lower pressures makes the front end really squishy.
Does the bold part explain the rest of your post? My rear wheel feels a little bit slippery when I corner, like it wants to swing out underneath me and keep going in the old direction ... I've been running a higher pressure than I'd like to, to help combat this. But the front wheel is fine.
