Love friction, have it on both of my bikes and don't plan on changing. Set it once and forget about it. Love being able to downshift quickly through the entire range of the freewheel/cassette when approaching a sudden red light. Not as easy to do with indexed.

In the front, there's no comparison. Chainrub is but a nanosecond's problem with friction.
