Grip shifters on SA hubs are rarer than triggers... they did not function as reliably and for every SA grip shift I have seen I have seen hundreds of trigger equipped bikes.
They were not offered for that long and have only seen them on 60's bikes which have included quite a few SA equipped CCM's.
