Surly LHT uses some fairly pedestrian tubing comparatively.

Actually, all I want is chromoly. It could be 853, 520, or 4130. I don't really care about what type of chromoly from which the frame is made. I simply want a chromoly steel-framed bicycle. That's it!
However, I must admit. I do like the pics of that Lane. Too bad it's HT...
