Days and even weeks will go by where I don't use it and then I may use it several times in a single day. Admittedly most of the time it is to signal my annoyance at careless drivers when they cut me off. I feel this not only makes me feel better about it, but embarrasses them publicly, hopefully decreasing the likelihood they behave that way in the future.

Where I really feel it is a must though is on those rare occasions when nothing else would suffice. Like when rolling along the MUP where it crosses large industrial lots where semi's are pulling in and out. They don't see me otherwise, but are quite polite about not running me over when I give them a toot to let them know I am there. Every now and then someone starts to drift out of their lane into what little space I have on the road, and a blast for the air horn puts a stop to that.

For $30, essentially zero weight, and being refillable by my pump, the Airzoundz can't be beat. 120 decibels is nothing to sneeze at.
