As a warning, I would be very wary of any of the spring loaded (or like) Ram mounts. I bought one on the good suggestion of many members on here, and enjoyed it for about 500 miles with no issue...up until I went on a ride down the rough roads of Atlanta. I hit a hard bump and watched the phone lauch itself out of the mount and onto the street where it promptly went under my back tire.
I have dispatched an email to Ram about this issue and suggested a fix. I highly doubt they are going to change anything, but it was worth trying. Now I have $40+~ of mount sitting on my hutch likely to never be used again, as I have no confidence in it's ability to hold my phone. Lucky that I carried insurance on the phone, or I would have been out $600......something to consider. My phone has never fallen out of my jersey pocket.
