The spare clincher in my bottle cage has been used numerous times over the decades.
And not always for me.
I have saved other's asses probably a dozen times.
I also carry an all in one tool and a chain breaker and a spoke wrench and a phone and money and the kitchen sink.
No reason to have to call the wife, unless the broken bone is too painful.
And even then, I still feel better being self sufficient.
