Help with training!

I picked up road cycling again in spring mostly to do tri's but have come to realize i truly enjoy it on its own. I sustained a running injury that will have me sidelined for the next 6-8 weeks from running but i can still bike with out problem. My normal training for biking was 3 days a week two shorter days and one longer ride. Short being between 20-30 and long usually going from 50-60 and occasionally went over that. Also in the last month or so i have substituted one of the short rides with some trainer intervals on my own or using the sufferfest videos. Now that biking is my mainstay for a while how should i change my training any advice on plans tips etc? I would like to become a stronger cyclist and would love to start doing road races next season. any help is appreciated thanks!
