Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

If the headtube is ovalized, nothing will make any headset remain tight. You can do one of the following as I see it:

1 Have the headtube replaced

2. Have a frame maker add brazing material to the headtube ends and ream it round

3. Replace the frame.

1 and 2 will require a repaint and be reasonably expensive. Is the frame worth that much to you?
