But seriously, I personally know of one Trek rider who had this happen with his new bike. Though he was neither injured nor skewered he was greatly inconvenienced.
Thanks cranky, I have one of the recalled models and haven't been notified yet. I'll call them Monday.....don't need a seat post up my...............
