No offense intended, because for my own use I absolutely agree with you.
However:
1. If you keep the receipts, Home Depot replaces them for free,
so your cost calculations are off.......we paid for the first one only.
2. It is the bike coop, where no tool is safe, including the best of them.
If you are a tool weenie (and I sorta am, but I'm working on getting
over it), it will drive you absolutely nuts to see some of the examples
of tool abuse that show up every week.
