Damn, that gitane is pretty! I don't know what it is, but those gitanes just give me a serious boonen. The dropouts look funky, but I think with a little care you could use them for a fixed gear. Just think of them as very short horizontal dropouts, since you only have a little 'front back' movement. I bet with a good gear choice, and maybe a half-link, you could nail it.

Plus, all clamp on cable guides, sexy clean, baby! If I hadn't just bought a Titan, I'd totally buy this Gitane....
