We'll start off with fridays ride. I had something to take care of on the upper east side of Manhattan which is about 15 miles away from me. I hopped on my trek 7200 and got there with no issue. coming back however was a different story. i was going down second avenue when a car starting honking me. He then pulled up on the side of me and said "Find a bike lane a-- hole". I didn't think anything of it and kept going. Further downtown where there is a shared lane I had an extremely wreckless cab driver get very close to me numerous times. As i got further downtown I caught up to him again and he decided to cut off a block of traffic by trying to drive in the protected bike path. After that it was pretty much smooth sailing all the way home.

Tonight was my first real winter commute in snow this year. I took the 7200 out again and got myself to work. Other than a few honks it wasn't a bad ride at all. I just get so tired of these NYC drivers who don't give us any courtesy at all.
