I've been thinking about an upright or straight bar conversion with 27x1 3/8" tires on a 1971 SC frame I have here. It's a toss up between that frame or a later 1977 frame built for 700c wheels that needs a complete refinish job. The earlier frame appears to have more tire clearance. The goal would be more to built a poor man's Super Tourer from an otherwise unused frame.
