Beyond that, I don't worry. People are going to get upset with you if you're in the road and you slow them down. They're just going to have to get over it.
I agree. I've pretty much stopped worrying about being nice to motorists and just ride my bike like I was driving my car -- lawfully and as safely as I can. Nobody expects motorist to be nice to each other, and when they are it causes wrecks.
