Cracks me up! When I lived at the base of the San Gabriel/San Bernardino mountains (in Claremont) I never really appreciated what I had as my "backyard". Now I miss these foothills and mountains more than I can tell you. This is God's country in So Cal. Mountain bikers, runners, exercise walkers, whatever... Maybe its the colleges, maybe its the culture of the community. There just isn't a better place in So Cal to live if you enjoy the outdoors....
