Lately I've been fascinated with non-standard time signatures. Dave Brubeck is the most famous example, but the Beatles and Radiohead have done quite a few as well. The Police's Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic goes from 7/8 to 4/4. Any others you guys know of?
Tool has been known to do some odd stuff with time signatures. Lateralus comes to mind. The whole song had to do with the Fibbonacci sequence, and the time signatures are 9/8, 8/8, and 7/8.
